Sign up for newsletters: We have various forms where visitors and meeting planners can obtain newsletters and other information from us. From meeting planners, we collect your full name, email, job title, organization, country, zip/postal code and meeting role and from other visitors, we collect full name, email, country, and zip/postal code. We may also offer a preference center where you can indicate your travel preferences and contact information so that we can send you information targeted to those preferences.

Contact us for more information: We have various forms on our Websites that you can use to contact us for information about  Myrtle Beach. We typically collect your full name, email, and subject of your email.

Register to use media assets from our multimedia gallery: If you wish to license certain media assets from us, we collect your full name, email, country, company name/media outlet, and phone number.

Plan Your Vacation: We provide resources, including a trip planner, to help you plan your trip to Myrtle Beach. We collect your full name, email, phone number, trip date and other details of your trip that you choose to share with us either through forms on our Websites or if you call our customer service phone number.

Enter a sweepstakes and other promotions: We may offer sweepstakes and other promotions from time to time, including trips to Myrtle Beach and tickets to events and attractions in Myrtle Beach. For such promotions, we collect your full name, email, phone number, address, zip code, and travel date. We may also collect birthdate and identification information (driver’s license or passport) to verify identity and eligibility and social security number or tax identification numbers to make tax filings. We use this information to administer the sweepstakes, award prizes and comply with legal requirements.

Surveys: We may conduct surveys of users and visitors from time to time relating to their trips, experiences and preferences and other information that may be useful to us and our Members in providing, developing and improving the products, services and events offered to such users and visitors.

Purchases of Tickets and Other Items: We also collect your personal information if you purchase a ticket at Ticketing Partners. This information includes your contact name, credit card or other payment information (which is processed by our payment processor), profile and preference information. Once you are ready to check out, you have an option to opt-in to our newsletter.

Live Chat: We offer certain live chat features on our Websites and Services. If you use a live chat feature, we will typically collect your name and contact information, as well as other information relevant to the subject of your chat.

Social Media Postings: We use third-party tools to ask you if you wish to have your Instagram or other social media postings of your Myrtle Beach experience  posted or reproduced on our Websites, Channels, social media channels and other promotional materials, including but not limited to, owned or paid online and print advertisements, emails, blogs, videos, comments on forums or message boards, contest and sweepstakes entries, tradeshow collateral, physical signage, virtual event websites, virtual broadcasts, presentation collateral, and education platforms (collectively “Marketing Communications”). You are able to withdraw your permission for us to acquire such physical location information from your mobile device through your mobile device settings, although we do not control this process.  We may also collect data from third parties that tracks longitudinal location data using a mobile device ID; this data is provided on an anonymized aggregate basis to show what attractions and other locations are being visited in the Myrtle Beach area.
